Does your dog checkout whilst you're training?
Or ignore you on walks?
Join me for five days of playing these games that will begin to strengthen your bond with your dog, and help develop a relationship where they want to train with you anywhere and everywhere.

I'm a Crocs wearing, treat bag toting, bobble-hatted dog training nerd π I started dog training back in 1998, and have gone on to train and compete in agility, rally obedience, scentwork and more. I have a particular passion for foundations, but also love digging into more complex training concepts.
I've been supporting learners online and in person for over a decade, and I enjoy coming up with out-of-the-box solutions.
I set up Compass Canine in 2018, and it's all about choice and respect in dog training - for dogs and their guardians alike.
I'm the author of Scentwork: Step by Step, which has now sold over 10,000 copies π±
I'm ably assisted in all things dog training by my two spaniels, Ripley and Peak. That's who you'll be seeing in the video demos!

'I have really enjoyed your relaxed, no frills style of teaching, it makes your training more relatable for me.' - Karen and Arthur

Rather than reaching for better treats, Iβll show you how changing how you deliver rewards can turbo-boost your training sessions.
I found this out the hard way with my own spaniel, Ripley. He often didnβt want to train with me; wandering off to sniff or ignoring cues heβd already learned. It would have been easy to blame him, but really, I needed to make the training more rworth his while. I needed to listen to him.
Once I started mixing up our reward delivery, suddenly training with me was worth his time. The process itself became exciting, and people often comment on the incredible attention Ripley gives me now. I've gone on to use replicate that with young Peak, and I believe that itβs something you can achieve too.
This isnβt about just throwing food for your dog. These are strategic games that teach focus, build patience and help you keep your dogβs attention without relying on always having food in your hand.
Yes, the replay of the daily live Q&A will be uploaded as soon as possible after the session ends. You'll get an email as soon as the replays are ready. You will have until Tue 22nd Dec to watch all the training (unless you opt for the ongoing access π)
All dogs CAN be trained using the methods I teach - often it's the other end of the lead that needs a bit more motivation or support! There is no such thing as a stubborn dog, we may just have to work out how to make them think it's their idea π
It should be - you may need to adapt things a little depending on your dog's current capabilities.
Absolutely. There's no special equipment required!
The training is FREE. You will be offered the option of buying ongoing access that gives you lifetime access to the training.
No problem - send and email to hello@compasscanine.co.uk and I'd be happy to help.
If you'd like to get immediate access to the training (and keep it for the lifetime of the course), then you can! You'll still be able to join the live event, including asking your questions each day. You'll just have had a bit of a head start with the training π
The cost is just Β£5 - fill in the details to get set up π
